Magic™ presents a new asset financing model designed to simplify dinghy ownership by reducing upfront costs and sharing risk with manufacturers, facilitating easier and more flexible ownership options for consumers and sailing clubs.
Magic™ innovation in dinghy financing: Magic replaces high upfront purchase costs through a risk-sharing partnership with manufacturers. Magic includes two years free insurance, interest-free monthly rental payments and low or no-cost flexible and defined end-of-contract options.
Cost comparison with conventional purchase: Traditional dinghy purchase requires a 100% upfront payment. With Mag-ic™, there is an initial rental payment of 30% deposit plus 24 monthly interest-free rental payments, which include free insurance. With over 30 dinghy bundles now available with Magic, it has never been easier to get a new dinghy, or to start participating in the sport.
Financial flexibility that lets you sail and save: Sailors pay a 30% initial rental and 24 interest-free monthly rentals, reducing their cash flow impact of a traditional upfront purchase. At the end of the rental period, sailors may then trade in, return, or buy the dinghy at a predetermined option price. Full details are displayed within the Performance Sailcraft Magic bundles. The process is managed with the sailor's Magic account with clear consumers' rights and obligations.
Consumer support and guarantees: Dinghies used within the Magic program all come with manufacturer guarantees and insurance covering theft and total loss, with options for trade-ins, equipment upgrades, and damage repairs available through designated dealers.
New Benefits for Sailing Clubs:: Sailing Clubs can acquire dinghies with reduced upfront costs and interest-free rentals using Magic. In addition, members of the sailing club who use Magic generate credits for their club to use to purchase equipment from Performance Sailcraft. To use Magic as a sailing club member, simply open a commercial Magic account, and one of our team members will contact you.
Dealer role and revenue: Our dealer network supports our sailors and help them select the right dinghy for their chosen sailing activities. With our resell and trade-in trade-up program, they also manage maintenance and resale of returned dinghies if applicable. Transparent Pricing and Guaranteed Terms All costs for a Magic agreement are included in the dinghy pricing bundles and fully stated in the Magic contract. We guarantee no price increases or contractual changes during the term of a contract. The Magic consumer charter outlines our commitments and obligations.
